Mindscapes

Mindscapes investigates the ability of pure documentary photography to create unique and personal narrative images.

These images are taken when a random icon of solitude strikes a cord in the artist during a personal journey. Nothing is set up - only genuine reaction to a found scene.

Using our environmental space and response to it to create atmosphere and meaning - all the images in these wider series’ are entirely about the human condition - but never figuratively - instead reflecting mood back onto the physical context we find ourselves in. As if to pass on that feeling to the viewer in an experiential manner, rather than illustratively.
