Sacred Space

These images explore nostalgia and narrative. History and legend. Myth and memory.
The power of a space to capture the energy, emotion and stories of the human condition.

So charged from the laughter and tears that have been entombed in its very structure, that these images of the empty, condemned nightclub are a powerful reminder of the times we shared with it. Reverence and celebration of the place in itself allows details and texture to evoke our experience, our connections and relationship with a space,
a home, a retreat, somewhere we found meaning.

Iconography emerges involuntarily and draws metaphor. Alter-like structure, lights, candles, a place of worship.

Peace. Souls. Life. Humanity.
